Vaastu

Vaastu Shastra is a Vast and ancient science of living. The word Vaastu is derived from the root - 'Vas' - which means to reside.

VASTU SHASTRA is the traditional Indian system of architecture and design of Vedic origin.It is not an equivalent of the word architecture. Vaastu is architecture and much more. While architecture is the science, art or profession of designing and constructing buildings etc., the definition of Vaastu extend into the realm of occultism.

Vaastu Shastra, the edifice science of Bhawan Sthapatya Kala, being the applied aspects of ATHARVAVEDA, is an ancient science and one of the eminent features of our heritage.

Vastu Shastra helps one to get the natural benefits freely offered by the five basic elements of the universe in which we all live. These basic elements are Akash (SKY), Prithvi (EARTH), Paani (WATER), Agni (FIRE), and Vayu (WIND).

 Vastu Shastra can be applied by keeping in harmony with these basic five elements of nature. Vastu is an inherent energy concept of science.

We cannot see energy with our naked eyes but we can realize and see its application in different forms and fashions. We all know that "upto the knowledge of mind is called Science and beyond the knowledge of mind is called Spirituality." Hence, Vastu is not only a science, but is a bridge between man and nature, thus teaching us the Art of Living.

Vaastu is the science of direction that combines all the five elements of nature and balance them with the man and the material. Vaastu Shastra is creating a congenial settings or a place to live or work, in most scientific way taking advantages of the benefits bestowed by the five elements called "Paanchbhootas" of the nature thereby paving the way for enhanced health, wealth, prosperity and happiness in an enlightened environment.
